National Waste Report 2018

The National Waste Report 2018 (developed by Blue Environment & associates) is now available online from the Department of the Environment and Energy here. The report is Australia’s primary record of the status of waste in 2016-17 and trends since 2006-07. It shows Australia generated 67 million tonnes of waste in 2016-17, of which 58% was recovered. On a per capita basis, waste generation rates are declining.
